The Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau has been awarded a second grant for a documentary highlighting Wood County’s role in the Civil War.
The DVD project, which cost $31,950, is scheduled for completion this fall.
As part of the national sesquicentennial commemoration of the Civil War in the area, the CVB is producing a DVD documentary. Public television will air the documentary and copies will be placed in each school and library in the area.
