Evansville author Ray Mulesky will be offering a free Civil War walking tour of Newburgh May 19, discussing the 1862 Confederate raid led by Henderson native Adam Rankin Johnson.
“This one-time event is being offered free to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the rebel raid on Newburgh,” said Muleskey, whose 2005 book “Thunder From a Clear Sky” gives a detailed account of the raid.
