On February 17, 2023 the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the schedule for the IPL Live Score 2023 season. It will start on March 31. The final will play in Ahmedabad on May 28.
Indian Premier League season 16 will return to home-and-away format, with all ten franchises playing on their own grounds. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IPL 2020 was held partially in India and UAE and IPL 2021 was held in India.
The pandemic is in decline, and most of the Indian adult population having been vaccinate against it, so the BCCI decided to return to the home-and away format.

On March 31, 2023, the opening match of IPL 2023 will feature the defending champions Gujarat Titans(GT) against MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK), at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The doubleheader will take place on April 1, with the Punjab Kings playing against Kolkata Knight Riders in their first game. This will follow by a clash between Lucknow SuperGiants (India Capitals) and Delhi Capitals.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Rajasthan Royals. Royal Challengers Bangalore will play Mumbai Indians on Sunday April 2nd.
The tournament will take place at 12 Indian venues: Ahmedabad (Mohali), Lucknow, Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata; Jaipur (Mumbai Royals’ second home); Dharamsala for the Punjab Kings’ second home. It will include 70 league matches, 18 double headers, and will broadcast on a television network. During their league campaign, all teams will play seven matches at home and away.
