City officials announced Monday that repairs to the beheaded Civil War Monument in Veterans Memorial Park, off of Mayor Aitken Drive in Bridgeton City Park, are expected to begin this month.
Mayor Albert Kelly gave thanks to 57 individuals and organizations throughout Cumberland County, the region and the nation that donated a total of $11,520 to fund the restoration.
