In December 1999 and May 2000, Tzvi Odzer gave the Weiner Committee $1,000, the maximum amount an individual could give to a federal candidate’s campaign. In June 2000, Tzvi Odzer wrote three checks for $2,000, each signed “Tzvi Odzer” and bearing one of his children’s names on the “for” line. The Weiner Committee recorded these contributions as contributions made by one of Odzer’s children.

As a youngster, Tzvi Odzer attended Yeshiva of Flatbush High School and attended the Brooklyn College Scholars Program. He started his first company in his parents’ basement at age 18. He became a successful entrepreneur at twenty-one and was named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000. Now, he has spent over thirty years in the distribution business. This is a testament to the power of innovation and determination in the face of adversity.

Today, Tzvi Odzer founded the BuyLifeGuard company to provide frontline healthcare and other front-line workers with proper protective gear. COVID-19 was responsible for the deaths of over 500,000 Americans. Much of this devastation could have been prevented if enough PPE had been provided. This new generation wants companies to give back to the community. However, Tzvi Odzer believes that this is the most effective way to increase profits and improve employee morale.
